Maybe it is a job that pays and means nothing, a relationship ending or beginning, a loss you have not put down, or the plain sense that the life you are living is not the one you were called to. Advice has not helped. Another book will not help. What helps is stepping out of the noise long enough to hear yourself.
A vision quest is the oldest way humans have done that: fasting, solitude and wild nature, held by people who know the way out and the way back.

Eight people at most, a daily check at the stone pile during the solo, and a preparation that covers medication, fitness and fear before you walk out.
Three days of incorporation on site, then post-quest counselling if you want a partner for the months after.
Prices, deposits and refund rules are printed, and two places on every program carry a payment plan or scholarship.
Circles of Air & Stone (also known online as Quest for Vision) is a wilderness rites-of-passage organisation based in Putney, Vermont, founded and guided by Sparrow Hart.
